Summer is almost over around here (luckily, though, we are having a couple more hot days ahead!), and, before we switch to a complete Fall wardrobe, I wanted to show you my look with this amazing (and romantic) statement ruffle top for a hot day in the city.

I love how the brand Tome has the most amazing, and yet somewhat minimalistic, tops in the fashion industry nowadays (my opinion)! Every time an occasion calls for a statement top, that’s definitely the first place that I look.
This time, I wanted a really fresh look, but that was comfy enough for me to walk around the city without showing too much. Some may disagree about that last part but come on, I am Brazilian! LOL
An all-white look is the best option to dress up in style without having to think too much during the summer. And ruffled tops with straps are a chic option that shows just the right amount of skin. This particular top I am using can be paired up with jeans for a casual Friday at the office look, or with denim skirt or shorts for a weekend look. I would advise using flat shoes or flatforms with this look. I just think this top asks for it. Any high heel here would break the magic for me.
