I love a good Instagram picture. When it is taken in restaurants (oh just you wait for my post on restaurants) or cafes around the city, it all gets even more fun! Today, I’m gonna show you the TOP 10 instagrammable cafes in NYC in my opinion and insta-experience.
1 – Woops! Bakeshop
“Oh Gabi, that’s not new’. I know! But how can I list the top instagrammable cafes in NYC and not mention Woops? They have two locations in Manhattan (TriBeCa and Midtown) and one on Brooklyn. I love how the mosaics on the tables and on the floor just BEG to be instagrammed. Their drinks and macarons are also delicious (and so very much instagrammable too).
Bakeshop locations:
1143 2nd Ave.
93 Worth Street
2 – Cha Cha Matcha
Ok, so I guess we are doing this in order of preference, then? Because, yes, my second favorite instagrammable spot is Cha Cha Matcha. It always has a huge line if you want to get a matcha (a great one, by the way), but it goes by really fast and in the meantime, you can start thinking about which corner of the store you’ll use as backdrop for your picture.
During winter time, they have a pink cover!
Address: 373 Broome St
3 – Maman
I just love this hidden spot in TriBeCa. It’s so cozy and the coffee and the bread are amazing! The tile print wall is my favorite thing, though!
Address: 211 W Broadway
4 – Pietro Nolita
Now, I confess I have never actually eaten in this spot. However, I’ve been there several times to take advantage of the cutest café entrance in town and use it as a backdrop for my pics. Inside, the cafe is also super pink!
Address: 174 Elizabeth St
5 – Ralph Lauren Coffee Shop
If you are more of a modern sophisticated person, you’ll most likely fall in love with Ralph’s Coffee, the coffee shop by Ralph Lauren. It has a very cool vibe to it, but still maintaining the very American ‘classic’ style that Ralph Lauren is known for.
Address: 711 5th Ave
6 – Happy Bones
This coffee shop is world-famous for its interior design by Ghislaine Viñas – its decoration has even won awards. The atmosphere is very cool, clean and even though it’s located in SoHo, I think there is kind of like a Brooklyn vibe to it (don’t you agree?).
Address: 394 Broome Street
7 – Alice’s Tea Cup
The lighting here is not the best for Instagram pictures, but this place is just so ‘crazily’ decorated, that it’s definitely worth it. The tea menu is extensive and the scones… OH, THE SCONES. Definitely worth it. Also, if you order their tea time menu (with the sweets and viennoiseries), the setting is also unbelievable.
Addresses: 102 W 73rd St and 156East 64th Street
8 – Ladurée SoHo
Needless to say, Ladurée is always Ladurée. If you are into cuteness and pastel tones for your Instagram, trust me, this is the place.
Address: 398 W Broadway
9 – Vesuvio Bakery
Who follows me on Instagram for a while knows that I used to come to this bakery even before I moved to NYC (back when I just visited). It’s super cute for pictures on the outside! On the inside, it’s very small and tricky to do pictures, but it’s still worthy for its delicious cookies that come out of the oven all the time!
Address: 160 Prince St
10 – Sweatshop Coffee
Everytime I come to Williamsburg, I insist on going to Sweatshop to grab coffee. I love the place’s atmosphere and vibe. It’s very Brooklyn-ish.

Wonderful blog! Do you have any recommendations for aspiring writers?
I’m hoping to start my own blog soon but I’m a little lost
on everything. Would you suggest starting with a free platform like WordPress or go
for a paid option? There are so many options out there that I’m completely
confused .. Any ideas? Appreciate it!

November 2, 2020Hi love!
Thank you so much! I use wordpress and love it! I paid for a theme at Theme Forest and took a while to adjust it to the way I wanted it to look. I recommend 100% doing it, especially if you’re tight on budget. Hope that helped! xoxo
