I loved this city so much that it was hard for me to pick only the 5 most Instagram worthy places in Boston, because the whole city inspires you to photograph every corner! It was a tough job, yes, but let’s get to it.
1 – Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum
When I first told my husband I wanted to go to this museum, I had to convince him that the artwork there is worth a visit (haha!), and it actually is. The museum not only takes place in a really impressive Venetian architecture house, but also has artwork by artists such as Veronese, Michelangelo, Rembrandt, and Vermeer. We had to choose between the Museum of Fine arts and this one, but since we had been to the one in Chicago and we live in NYC and have the MET and MoMA, it was easier to convince him.
2 – Tatte Bakery and Café
From the white walls to the way the patisserie is exposed, everything in this place calls for an Instagram picture.
3 – Acorn Street
It was another challenge to drag my husband here (a little FYI, he hates to take my Instagram pictures, and hates it even more when, in trips, I make him go to Insta places. LOL! If your case is similar, just say this street has a lot of history – which it actually does – and make him read the explanatory sign), but it is totally worth the efforts. It is one of the most bucolic and picturesque streets I’d ever seen. And just so, sooo photographable.
4 – Modica Way Mural
If you stretch your trip to Cambridge for, say, a visit to Harvard, and are into street art, this mural is a must-go.
5 – The Boston Common
Not only this was one of my favorite spots to Instagram, but also the perfect place to go for a walk after lunch with an iced latte with Almond milk on my hands, freshly grabbed from a nearby Thinking Cup (you thought I was gonna say Starbucks, didn’t you?).
6 – The Barking Crab
With a beautiful view of the river and of the city, this place is also a must-go if you are into seafood. The lobsters are just BEAUTIFUL and the place’s cool and laid back vibe also calls for pictures!
7 – Pavement Coffee
This place manages to be a hidden spot in one of the most famous streets in Boston. The inside is super cozy with cute tables embellished with flower drawings, and the outside makes you feel like you are in a small secret garden where people passing by hardly see you. And don’t forget to try the bagels!!!
8 – Boston Public Library
The greatness of this place is just unbelievable. The high ceilings just beg to be Instagrammed!
What do you think?
