A good black turtleneck is my favorite staple piece to have during Fall season. It just goes with SO many different pieces and can be worn just so many times throughout the season.
Because EVERYONE should have one in their closet, I decided to write this post with my favorite ways to style a black turtleneck.

3 Key Pieces to Transition Your Wardrobe to Fall
1 – With jeans
Yeah.. I know! That’s the most intuitive option. But I love to experiment my black turtleneck with different types and cuts of jeans and accessories. One thing I always love to do is to wear my necklace outside the sweater, to give it a little something extra.

2 – All black with a camel coat
A camel coat is always a YES during fall. There’s no way you will make mistakes with a black&camel look. Sticking to the neutrals is just my favorite thing to do when I need to look basic and elegant, but don’t have lots of time to get dressed

3 – With a skirt and over the knee boots
Also one of my favorite ways to style my turtleneck. I’ve been so into tweed skirts lately and I think that the best piece to wear with them when it gets cold is a basic turtleneck. As for the boots, either over the knee or ankle styles work perfectly. For me, in particular, the OTK boots elongate my legs and make me look taller, whereas ankle boots with skirts really make me look shorter. Up to you!

If you’re feeling a little edgy, throw a plaid coat on top of it, just like @lornaluxe.
4 – With a poncho
For me, a good poncho is a great piece to wear during Fall. You can easily throw them or take them off: super practical. With the right print (for me, plaid!), they will never let you down in terms of style!

5 – With cool velvet bottoms
That was definitely my go-to way to style my turtleneck in the beginning of Fall, when the days were a bit warmer. If it gets colder, though, velvet or leather pants are also a great option!
