To all my readers out there thinking about traveling to Hawaii, I am SO excited to partner up and share with you everything about my stay at the Alohilani hotel in Oahu!

This trip to Hawaii was particularly special for both me and Leo, because it was our wedding anniversary and we had to celebrate in style! So, after exploring all the nature in Maui, we just HAD to treat ourselves with an amazing hotel where we would actually go to spend time, just relaxing and enjoying the view (and, man, what a view!).
When most people and I think about hotels in Honolulu, that image of old hotels crowded with tourists, kinda going back to the 70s, come to mind. This is what I thought was the main advantage of being at Alohilani: they manage to bring you the Hawaiian atmosphere in a high end, chic (and NEW!) environment.
That leads me to talk about Alohilani’s awesome amenities. And since I just mentioned a view, can we please talk about the infinity pool? I meaaan! It was nominated as one of the top 10 most memorable pools in the United States. And it is – see for yourself:
It was really hard to rank the things that we liked the most about the hotel, especially when the rooms were so cozy and well decorated with breath-taking views! But let’s just talk about the amenities for now, shall we?
Of course, the pool was our favorite spot of all (seriously, one of the coolest things in LIFE), and the best part of our days was to get cozy around the fireplace right after the sunset with a drink and truffle fries!
Speaking of food, if you guys saw my Stories, you witnessed how crazy I got at the breakfast buffet. Please erase from your minds the scene I did hahaha!
Oh God, it looks like I can’t move on from the pool, but that pool side bar was just essential for us to enjoy the view with the perfect cocktails and snacks on the side. Just saying…
Also close to the pool, there were special cabanas that you can rent to just chill and lounge, enjoying the sun or the sunset.
As I just said, the rooms were just perfect, both in décor and in comfort, especially after spending our first day exploring the island and getting our feet durty! Going back to the room felt like home to us (it just didn’t have our puppies in it! Haha)
Overall, I just loved the fact that the hotel could keep such a vibrant tropical and ‘beachside’ atmosphere and at the same time have such a chic décor and offer the guests this high-end experience of being so close to nature without sacrificing their comfort.
As a fashion blogger, I was a little worried that my experience in Hawaii would be far too adventurous and restricted to nature related activities, but make no mistake: the hotel’s location was perfectly close to the shops we love and I could safely do some shopping to get ready for New York Fashion Week (yeees, I was in HI for the first couple of days of NYFW).
What do you think?
