Up until some good five years ago, I wasn’t the biggest fan of perfumes. I always had the impression that they were all overwhelming and strong. Then, I met the fragrance that nowadays is my signature one, and that opened me up to a world of possibilities in the perfume industry.
With that said, I decided to share with you today a few of the best perfumes for women (although I believe scents, like most things in life, transcend genders) that ‘changed my life’ (ohhh so dramatic, I know) in the hopes that they will change yours too!

Bvlgari Allegra Collection Review
1 – Orange Sanguine by Atelier Cologne
This list wouldn’t make sense if I didn’t start it out with the very first fragrance that changed my life. A big disclaimer about this perfume (actually, cologne) is that it’s ideal for lovers of orangey-like scents like me. It’s a more citrusy fragrance that’s also really fresh and ideal for the Summer, I would say.
2 – Dylan Turquoise by Versace
As a lover of fresh fragrances, the Dylan perfume by Versace really caught my attention. I just can’t help but picture myself by the sea wearing that scent.
My favorite product from the line has been the hair scent lately, since the days are getting warmer and warmer and I think hair perfumes are a great way to avoid the sweaty perfume vibes that we can get sometimes at the end of the day.
Yes, that’s another hair fragrance right here. This hair perfume by Gisou is almost like just a smell enhancer for your hair and kind of a no-makeup makeup version of perfumes and I LOVE IT. It’s a very subtle but noticeable scent (even with everyone wearing masks these days, I got some compliments for wearing this one).
4 – Bvlgari Allegra Fantasia Veneta
If you thought I’d leave nocturnal and sexy perfumes out of this list because I’m a fresh kinda gal you’re so wrong! I love myself a fragrance full of sensuality and with a strong character when I go out for dinner or drinks at night. I love the patchouli notes in this Bvlgari fragrance, which it’s what makes it so sexy.

This perfume looks so innocent – and maybe a bit too sweet – when we look at the bottle, but this delicate scent is so unique and full of character that you’d be surprised. It’s a very feminine perfume I use often to go to lunchtime dates with friends, but that could easily translate into a power fragrance for the nighttime.
This perfume screams CHIC and sophisticated. I love to wear this one on occasions I need to be elegant and translate a level of sophistication. It’s very delicate, but powerful at the same time. There are also some subtle powdery notes, but really very far from your usual Granny’s perfume. Love, love, love this one.
7 – Atelier Cologne Rose Anonyme
I think we can all tell by now that I’m a huge fan of Atelier Cologne. They were the ones that really introduced me back into the fragrance world, starting with an ultra-fresh scent, but taking me to this POWERFUL scent (aaaand they have over 90% of natural ingredients in their formulas).
I just have 5 words for this perfume: NOT YOUR TYPICAL ROSE FRAGRANCE. Yes, it obviously has a predominant rose note, but there’s something about it, maybe the also strong wooden scents, that makes it so unique, sexy, and so ideal to feel empowered as a woman.
Hope you guys liked this shortlist!r
