(Hot Girl) Summer in the City is right around the corner and all the anxiety starts to kick in because we simply didn’t buy any fits last Summer because of Covid, right? I got your back! In this post, I put together my favorite NYC Summer Outfit Inspirations with pieces you can shop right now and looks that you can easily wear in the City.

Crochet Pieces
The trend I’ve been loving the most this Summer is definitely crochet. They’re so versatile that you can wear them around the City for errands and date nights, but also take them with you to your European Sumemer vacation.
I love myself a good Crochet skirt and a nice matching set. Check out these pieces from Knyt Studios 🙂
A cute floral dress goes a long way…
Sometimes, when we think about Summer in NYC, the last image that comes to mind is a floral dress. But make no mistake, the piece is vastly worn around here when the temperatures go above 70 degrees!
Shorts and Pinstripe shirt
This is my updated 2021 version of the shorts-and-white-shirt look. No matter which one you pick, this combination will make you look so effortlessly elegant and chic and can easily go from day to night! I feel I look kind of rich when I wear this LOL!
Shorts and White Shirt
This is the more basic, but definitely not less elegant, version of the combo above. It’s my go-to Summer look for whenever I don’t want to look too ‘naked’ for the City. So chic and effortless.
Flowy pants
This is another option to look chic and elegant in the City when the temperatures are high. I love to sport these with some strap or crop tops in the Summer.
Maxi and Midi dresses
Maxi and midi dresses are yet another great option to dress up in the Summer. It’s great to not be wearing something too short in the City because it gives you that practicality of not worrying about flashing your a** in the Subway or walking around alone at night if you are a woman.
Jeans and an open-top
Yes, jeans, why not? Even though Summer in NYC can get preeeetty HOT, I still love to wear a nice pair of jeans every once in a while, balancing it with a revealing top.
