If you live anywhere in the USA at this time, you are most likely facing this cruel and harsh heat wave (accompanied by humidity most times – which is the worst!). Symptoms are: you can’t stay more than 5 min with a greasy face; you step outside and your hair gets frizzy in a matter of seconds; you’re feeling the city is twice as polluted; you feel dirty 10 min after taking a shower… The list goes on but y’all know what I’m talking about, huh?
I took a while to figure out the right skincare products to solve my heat wave problems, and now that I did, I CANNOT live without them. Worry not! It’s all being shared here (I wish I could put the naughty-faced emoji here… But just picture it).
- Bliss body wipes
Those body wipes are such a game-changer when you are half-way through your day and feel that need to freshen up. The packages are really easy to be carried in your bag. Always nice to carry a travel-size deodorant too!
- Deodoc wipes
No need to be ashamed here. We all sweat THERE. That’s why those wipes come in so handy when you’re on the go – and this brand is gynecologist approved.
- Glass serum by Peach and Lily
We don’t need to give up on our anti-age routine to not make our skin oily this summer! Among all the amazing serums out there, this serum by Peach and Lily is one of my favorites. It’s really light weight and has an amazing texture that won’t leave your skin greasy.
- Blotting papers
I don’t really need to elaborate here. They are really easy to carry around and will save you when your skin greasiness spike.
- Hair scent Dyptique
We don’t need to give up on perfumes this season! I really try to avoid skin perfumes when it’s this hot, but I love to smell good (guess we all love that). That’s why this hair scent by Diptyque was such a good solution for me.
- Sunscreen – Supergoop!
When the subject is heat and summer, I can’t leave our sunscreen out of the list! This one from Supergoop is my favorite! You just apply all your make up and this sunscreen spray will serve as both a fixer and a protector! Love it! And this packaging is just super practical to carry it around in your bag – and also cute.
