Hi guys!
Sorry for the lack of posts, but, once again, this last month has been crazy with all the traveling! While I was posting on Instagram during the trip, so many of you asked me to do a post with the best spots for pictures in Paris or any hidden gems of the city. So here I am, with my list of the most Instagram-Worthy Places in Paris.
Trocadero (early morning!)
As usual, I always like to begin with the classic spots, and the Trocadéro square, in my opinion, offers the best Eiffel Tower views. My tip is to arrive there really early (before 8 am) to get the place almost just for yourself (no, you won’t be the only one waking up early).
The Least Crowded View to the Arc de Triomphe
Eeeevery single tourist will try and get his best shot of the Arc de Triomphe from Champs Elysées. My tip is to walk around Étoile and get to the other, less crowded, side of the Arch to get the best pictures.
Pont Alexandre III
I guess this has to be the most Instagrammed bridge in the whole city – and also my favorite one. Besides just being beautiful with all golden details, it also has one of the best views to the Eiffel Tower. Makes up for amazing pictures whether you’re crossing it or passing underneath it on the river bank.
Palais de Tokyo
This one is a little underestimated by tourists but totally worth going. It’s very central and super close to the Trocadéro square. The building is beautiful, but if you go up the stairs and exit it through the back (opposite side of the Seine) and walk left, you’ll see the cutest little café with a breath-taking view to the Eiffel Tower.
Parisian Rooftops
You might need a local ‘rooftop expert’ for this one, but let me tell you: it’s SO WORTH IT. I remind you that going up on rooftops in Paris is not exactly legal – in fact, disturbed neighbors can even call the police if you’re with a photographer that doesn’t have a good relationship with them. It can also be a little risky and I don’t recommend going if you’re scared of heights or have vertigo.
With all that said, though, I’d do it again a million times. From the rooftop that my photographer took me to, the views were simply AMAZING and the photos came out just perfect.
Rue de l’Université
This small street by the Eiffel tower is super Instagram famous. My advice is to get there early in the day so you can hopefully get the street with no cars.
When I was in Paris, I believe it was a national holiday, so the tower was also surrounded by fences, so I couldn’t get the best shot. But hopefully, you should be fine.
Le Café Marly and Louvre Museum
I just love the big courtyard with the pyramids at the Louvre Museum. But this time, I got there extra early and got a nice table at the Café Marly and I was just in love with the views.
Les Deux Plateaux
Since the last time I’ve been to Paris (before last month), this underrated square just across the street from the Louvre had already become one of my favorite photo spots in Paris. So, couldn’t keep it out of my list.
Seine-side Booksellers
One thing I love about the weekends in Paris is to go browse the booksellers around the Seine river. I always find amazing gems (and also take amazing pictures). You can find those sellers on both sides of the river, but my favorites are in the area that goes from the Quai de la Tournelle to the Quai Voltaire (Saint-Germain-des-Près).
Place de La Concorde
I just love the fountain! And also think it’s such a beautiful square.
Jardin du Luxembourg
Best place to go relax and chill in Paris. There’s literally nothing better than pulling a chair and just chilling by the fountain that faces the beautiful Palais du Luxembourg on a Summer morning.
Cute corners…
Those corners are definitely something you can’t miss, but just thought I’d at least mention them, since they were super cool backgrounds to some of my pictures.
Rue Lauriston near Le Dokhan’s
This was super close to where I was staying, and I loved the open space with the hotel in the V corner.
Rue Saint-Dominique
This very picturesque street has a few Instagrammable spots, like the cute Saint-Dominique square, and there’s an area with amazing views to the tower. You choose!
Hope you guys liked this small guide and let me know here what you’d like to see next about Paris!
