Greece Outfit Ideas: What to Wear In Greece This Summer

Although it feels so good to be back in the City, I can’t deny I really miss being in Greece soaking up some Greek sun! It was so fun dressing up for Summer travels again, so I couldn’t help but write this post now that I’m back to give you some inspiration on what to wear in Greece.

What to wear in Greece?

We spent about 5 days in Santorini, 3 in Amorgos, 3 in Folegandros and 3 in Naxos. Visiting these smaller islands was a great experience, especially since I love to do things that are more off the beaten path.

Outfit-wise, I also confess I dressed much more relaxed in these smaller, less touristic islands than in fan-cyyyy Santorini.

My ABSOLUTE go-to look in Greece was…

As in every single Summer trip of mine, my absolute go-t0 look in Greece this Summer was my infamous denim shorts + linen shirt look.

Actually, whenever I don’t know what to wear, THIS is the look I always go for. It’s simple and elegant and you can never go wrong with it – and it really matches the Greece aesthetic.

For Sunset drinks…

I brought a few different cute dresses to have drinks watching the sunset on the islands, and they were always spot-on.

A quick thing to note is that, if you’re going to Greece in mid-June, it’s still not that warm at night, so definitely bring some sleeve dresses or a sweater to carry in your bag if you need.

To spend the day walking around…

The hardest ‘occasion’ to dress up, for me, was honestly to simply walk around the islands, mostly because we never knew if we would spend the entire day exploring the little villages or if we would try to find a beach – and some of the beaches require some degree of hiking, so always carry comfy shoes in the car with you (if you rented a car).
